After lots of Sundays of PhotoPhun, we have another participant!! Lisa’s friend Karren has proposed “It’s not easy being green” as this week’s challenge. She wanted to get in on the action and we twisted her arm and stomped on her toes until she came up with a theme. Interpretation will probably be all over the board for this one, as it’s not as definitive as “doors” or “ice”, so it will be very interesting to see what everyone does. I don’t know where Karren will post hers, unless Lisa hosts it, so when I find out, I will link ASAP. Until then, make sure to check out Lisa and Ree.So, considering the time of year, my interpretation of the challenge was that it’s difficult for anything to grow in the cold. Fortunately, my daughter just started some rainbow coleus seeds, and the new sprouts were sitting on the window ledge in the kitchen. Soooooo……
The following pic I got while I was doing a ‘modeling’ shoot with Chuck, which will go up later this week. I was sitting there, waiting for him to pose again, and I noticed the ivy, which just so happens to be green this time of year.
So that’s what I found this week. Was a bit short on time and the weather didn’t cooperate as there were some shoots in the flower beds that I wanted to get, but they were buried under the snowfall Friday. Dammit.
Lisa’s turn for next Sunday, but we’re all always open to anyone’s suggestions!! And feel free to join in, even if you can occasionally participate. Some is better than none!!

It does my heart good to see some kind of green growth! I am SO ready for this snow to be over!!
Agreed, Ree.
Green was a great challenge this week. Hopefully we’ll see more of it by the end of the week.
Next week’s challenge: natural framing
