In June of 2009, I did a shoot at St. Stan’s, and there were a number of photos I took that I couldn’t post, because I couldn’t put them together, panorama-style. I was rushing the shoot, afraid of overstaying my welcome, and wasn’t careful with the aim of each shot. Technology is a wonderful thing, and because of a newer, more powerful version of Adobe Photoshop, I pulled those pieces-parts back out and ran them through with the software. Abra ca-freakin-dabra! Those pics are assembled and I can finally share them.

Roses, Everywhere
I keep pushing folks to visit the Rose Garden at Lakeview Park, especially if its been a long time since they’ve been there. They’ll be in peak bloom for the next few weeks. So, if ever there was a time to go, it’s now. I was blown away by the myriad blooms as I walked up to the Garden Monday night. It’s absolutely stunning. The first two shots are from Lakeview, the last two from my flower beds. Enjoy!
Back on the Henderson
A few weeks ago, I did a “Random Shots” piece from the Henderson Bridge. Loraine Ritchey sent me an email, asking me to do another panorama once the leaves were out on the trees. Well, the leaves are out, I got the shot, and all of this is the result of that trip.
Thanks, Loraine!
Before I went to the Henderson, I stopped by the boat launch off of Broadway, which put me right on top of the area that someone told me was called “Bum’s Woods.” Whatever its name, there is an unload area for freighters from many moons ago. Above this, is a concrete wall that has a lot of grafitti. There are some real artists out there somewhere.
One more thing I found while on the Lofton Henderson Memorial Bridge:
Did you know that you can see the Lighthouse from the Bridge?
I do now.
