I’d been trying to coordinate schedules with Kristen, Mike and Cydnie. We finally found a day we were all available and we took Cydnie to the Zoo for her first visit. We all had a good time, but we were racing the clock, and trying to deal with some hot weather. Took a ton of pics, and hated most of them. One of these days I’ll learn that you can’t rush a shoot and expect to get good pics.

As a Christmas gift to the family (and myself), I bought a membership to the Cleveland Zoo. The weather was gorgeous on Thursday, and I went. I think I completely blew that “bad funk” out of the water. I had fun! Go figure. As I was coming home, I thought of a way to run this series, rather than just “a trip to the Zoo.” Remember the game show “The $100,000 Pyramid”? The series that follows is like that.
